Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd. has launched a dedicated fleet of six LNG (LiquifiedNatural Gas)-powered container trucks. Introduced for carbon black freight tokey tyre customers, the fleet aims to reduce logistics-led emissions whileenhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

Compared to conventional diesel trucks, LNG containers offersignificant CO2 emission reduction by 20–25 per cent and up to 90 per cent lessnitrogen oxides (NOx), and ~100 per cent fewer particulate matter (PM)emissions. In addition, LNG trucks typically achieve 5–10 per cent better fuelefficiency. The adoption of LNG-powered fleet also contributes directly toScope-3 emission reductions for Epsilon and its tyre customers.

Each truck in the fleet has anoperational range of approximately 500 kilometres, making it well-suited formedium- and long-haul carbon black transportation. Epsilon plans to introduce moreLNG container fleet based on customer demand and capacity utilization.
