H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd inaugurates India’s largest Solar Panel Frame plant in Rajkot, Gujarat
Shri C R Patil, Hon’ble UnionMinister of Jal Shakti, Government of India inaugurated the plant in thepresence of senior Government officials, leadership team of H&H Aluminiumand all invited dignitaries.
Company has investedaround INR150-crore with manufacturing capacity of 24,000 MT per annum.
- At full capacity,plant will be able to generate sales of INR700-750-crore per annum.
- Currently 90-95 percent of the Aluminium solar panel frames are imported in India.
- In September 2024,GoI imposed an anti-dumping duty ranging from $403 to $577 per MT (Equivalentto 14 per cent) for five years on imports of Aluminium Frames for Solar Panelfrom China.
Gujarat-based H&H AluminiumPvt. Ltd. has launched India’s largest and most advanced aluminium solar framemanufacturing plant at Rajkot, Gujarat. The 24,000 metric tons (MT) per annumcapacity at village Chibhda in Rajkot can power and support up to 6.0 Gigawatt(GW) solar installation in the country.
The company has invested around INR150-crorein the 28,000 sq. meter state-of-the-art plant. It is one of the most advancedplants for the solar panel aluminium frames in the country. At full capacity,the plant will be able to support sales of INR700-750-crore per annum. Theplant will generate employment opportunities for over 300 people.
Uttam Patel, Director, H&HAluminium Pvt Ltd said, “This will be India’s largest and most advanced SolarPanel aluminium frame plant at single location…We expect to start commercialproduction within next one month.”
H&H Aluminium Pvt. Ltd.’sRajkot plant is equipped with SCADA and IoT-enabled production lines forreal-time monitoring and quality control. It has a fully equipped quality lab andin-house R&D for product customisation, and zero-liquid discharge anodizingsetup. The Company’s aluminium frames are RoHS and REACH compliant, free fromhazardous substances, and 100 per cent recyclable.
