Patel Engineering Limited (‘Company’ or ‘PEL’), hasbeen declared the Lowest Bidder (L1) for two significant infrastructureprojects — an urban infrastructure development project and a hydropowerproject.

The Urban infrastructure project is valued at INR1,318.89-crore, declared L1 by City and Industrial Development Corporation ofMaharashtra Limited (CIDCO) for the Construction of Kondhane Dam and its alliedworks. Located in Maharashtra, Village Kondhane, Karjat Taluka, falling underRaigad district, the project would be completed using Roller Compacted ConcreteTechnology and is to be executed in a period of 42 months.

The scope of works includes Civil Works for thedam construction having a length of 1,209m and 83m height along its alliedworks as well as Hydro Mechanical and Electrical works including three radialgates, and electrical and manual gate control and other electrification works.

The second project is worth INR 718-crores(including taxes) and is a hydropower project for North Eastern Electric PowerCorp. Ltd. (NEEPCO) for the 240 MW HEO Hydro Electric Project located inArunachal Pradesh. The project is to be completed in a period of 44 months.

The scope of works include construction of Civiland associated infrastructure works, testing and commissioning ofHydro-mechanical Plant and Machinery leading to successful operation andperformance of all the Generating Units of the 240 MW HEO Hydro ElectricProject.
