UltraTech CementMiddle East Investments Limited (UCMEIL), UltraTech Cement’s wholly ownedsubsidiary in UAE, has notified its intention of making a partial conditionalcash offer for acquiring 158,049,610 shares, representing 31.6 per cent of theissued and paid-up share capital of RAKWCT in accordance with Article 10 of theDecision of the Chairman of the Securities and Commodities Authority’s Board ofDirectors No. (18 / RM) of 2017, concerning the Rules of Acquisition and Mergerof Public Shareholding Companies (the ‘Takeover Code’) of UAE, (the ‘Offer’). Theoffer period shall open from 28^th May 2024 and remain open up to 24^thJune 2024.
