Grew amongst three MNRE approved manufacturersto win the mandate to manufacture, test, package, forward, supply, andtransport the solar PV module.

Grew Energy Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s emergingsustainability brands, has won the largest share of 200MW contract of SolarEnergy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction. The mandate is to test, package,forward, supply, and transport the solar PV module. Grew is amongst a few manufacturersto supply domestically made Solar PV modules with domestically manufacturedsolar cells.

The tender that was out in December 2023 hasspecifications to supply uniform size and crystalline technology to locationsanywhere across the nation as per SECI guidelines. The delivery of the productand its spare parts has to span over nine month duration.

Evaluated bid price is finalised at `22.66per Watt peak (Wp) for all the three bidders creating a standardised rate forthe supply of modules and also establishing preference to the upcomingsubsequent auctions.
