Indiahas requirement of investment of worth `50-trillion (US$777-billion) ininfrastructure by 2022 to have sustainable development in the country. And, asof now, only 24 per cent of the National Highway network in India is four lanes.There is immense scope of improvement. Schemes, such as Housing for All andSmart City mission will give growth to that sector.


What are the trends that are continuingdriving the sales of Construction Equipment?

TheConstruction industry plays a central role in society in both emerging andmature economies. It creates jobs, accounts for 6.0 per cent of global GDP, andbuilds the industrial and civil infrastructure that enables other business tothrive.

In this,continuous R&D plays a vital role in flexible procurement and contracting,finishing the projects in the given timeline due to cost efficient and timesaving.


Whichbold actions should you urgently take to propel change and stay ahead ofcompetition?

One ofthe most important ingredients to success in life and business is the abilityto adapt as technology changes. Are there any initiatives that you areundertaking at your company towards hybrid or electric equipments?

No, ourmachines need heavy engines to operate, which are not possible with hybrid orelectric equipment as of now.
