Metsohas signed a contract with Greta Energy Limited for the deliveryof a traveling grate pelletizing plant in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. TheChandrapur project is the second Compact-sized Pellet Plant Metso hassecured in India recently, following a similaragreement announced in November 2025

Thiscompact plant is based on a 3-meter-wide indurating machine. Thedelivery includes engineering and design of the plant, along with the supply ofproprietary equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.

It also sets an important benchmark forsmaller-scale pellet plants that will play a crucial role in shaping the futureof India’s steelmaking landscape across diverse regions. Theorder value, which is not disclosed, has been recognized in theFerrous business 2025 fourth-quarter order intake. The Ferrous business iscurrently being divested and presented as discontinued operations.
