VECommercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV) inaugurated a dedicated manufacturing facilityand delivered the first batch of Eicher Pro X trucks to leading Indianlogistics providers at Bhopal. The all-new facility, located within VECV’sIndustry 4.0 complaint Bhopal factory, was inaugurated by Martin Lundstedt,President and CEO, Volvo Group, and Siddhartha Lal, Chairman, Eicher Motors Ltd.and Board Member, VECV.

Vehiclesrolling off the all-women final assembly line at this brand-new facility weredelivered to leading players in the rapidly transforming Indian logisticsindustry.

SofiaFrändberg, Chairperson, VECV and Senior Leader, Volvo Group, emphasised theinternationally benchmarked capabilities at VECV. “The Eicher Pro X, developedand commercialized in record time, is a testament to the industry-leadingcapabilities at VECV. Innovation in the Eicher Pro X does not stop at theproduct. I am proud to note that it is also built on an all-women assemblyline, showcasing innovative approaches that enhance inclusiveness on themanufacturing shopfloor," she said.
