Sona Comstar recognized as one of the Top 50 Innovative Companies in India by CII

SonaComstar, a leading automotive technology company providing mission-criticalsystems and components for electrified and non-electrified powertrain segmentshas been recognized as one of the top 50 ‘Innovative Companies’ in India by theConfederation of Indian Industry (CII). The company has been felicitated withCII Industrial Innovation Awards 2022 for its innovations in the electricvehicles segment to address the transformations in the automotive sector.

Sona Comstar, with its in-house research and technology,has been able to create a robust EV components portfolio. Thecompany’s revenue from Battery EVs grew 33 per cent Y-o-Y in H1 FY23contributing 25 per cent of total revenue against 21 per cent in H1 FY22.

Additionally,the company has added seven new programs and four new customers in H1 FY23 withthe number of awarded programs increasing to 37 across 23 different customers.

Black & Veatch bags IEDCL’s 41MW hybrid project
Black & Veatch has been selected to provide engineering expertise to IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited’s (IEDCL) 41 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery storage hybrid project in India.
