TheConstruction arm of Larsen & Toubro has secured a significant* order fromthe Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority to construct Hi-Tech IT Parks at eightlocations (two packages at four locations each) across Bangladesh. This projectis being funded by the Indian EXIM Bank and is the first IT and Office Spaceorder that L&T has secured in Bangladesh.
Themajor scope of work for the project comprises Procurement and Construction of sevenstoried structural steel buildings at all eight locations with BUA of 1.2 millionsq.ft. including Civil, Finishes, Façade, and Electromechanical works with LEEDGold rating. The scope also includes HVAC, Lift, Electrical, Fire FightingSystem, Public Health Engineering, Networking and Security System, BuildingManagement System, Site Development, Road, Boundary wall, Landscaping, Arboriculture,etc.
Theproject locations are in Rangpur, Natore, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna,Gopalganj and Barishal districts of Bangladesh. The project is scheduled to becompleted within stringent timelines.
