The Confederation of Real Estate DevelopersAssociation of India, CREDAI Hyderabad leadership team led by P. Rama KrishnaRao, President, CREDAI Hyderabad, V. Rajashekar Reddy, General Secretary,CREDAI Hyderabad, along with the Managing Committee members of CREDAIHyderabad have welcomed the new property registration portal ‘Dharini’ – anotherinitiative by the Telangana state government to streamline the operations in thereal estate sector and usher in ease of doing business. The new software isdeveloped in Telangana under the guidance of the Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumarand team.
The new Integrated Land Records ManagementSystem (Dharani), combines Land administration and Registration services, whichserve as a single source of truth for all land parcels and discharge all land-relatedfunctions in an integrated, efficient, and effective manner with all actions ona near real-time basis. Dharani also provides a GIS system that includes a visualrepresentation of the land record data.
Dharini system will transform the propertyregistration and record-keeping mechanism by providing a unique code to eachproperty, bringing transparency, smooth processing and documentation. It willbe useful for all the government departments across the state and include measureslike authentication of documents by using finger prints of parties, obtainingtheir Aadhar and mobile phone numbers, and sending SMS/emails and whatsAppupdates. This will prevent impersonation and registration of fake documents.
‘Certified copies’ of registered documents will beprovided online on payment of a fee. Also, through the new software,information related to property rights maintained by the concerned departments couldbe checked online.
