Power management company, Eaton, has announcedthat it is the first company to have its product development processescertified by both the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and globalsafety science organization UL. The certifications underscore Eaton’s leadershipin providing customers with confidence that its connected solutions comply withproven industry standards and guidelines.
Said Michael Regelski, Senior Vice President and ChiefTechnology Officer, Electrical Sector at Eaton, “Our industry-first IECand UL endorsements mean that our customers can be confident that products andsolutions they buy from us meet the same level of standards recommended by two key standard organizations acrossthe globe.”
“Our customers in India are offered Eaton products which conform to bothIEC and UL standards,” confirmed Syed Sajjadh Ali, MD, Eaton Electricalbusiness India. “All our UPS range andthe SNMP solutions are developed under Eaton’s secure-by-design process, whichis now certified by both UL and IEC.
