Theconstruction arm of L&T has secured orders from prestigious clients for itsvaried businesses.
The PowerTransmission and Distribution of L&T Construction has received two morepackages from the implementing agencies of Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla RailLink project to provide Electrical and Mechanical Systems for tunnels. Thescope of these packages involves 33kV and 11kV HT power cable network, GISsubstations, DG sets, tunnel lighting, ventilation, and fire fighting systems,and SCADA system.
The Waterand Effluent Treatment business of L&T Construction has secured a repeatEPC order from Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department(NWRWS & KD), Government of Gujarat, to execute the Tapi–Karjan PipelineLink Irrigation Scheme. The project envisages to irrigate 16,919 hectares ofcommand area in the districts of Tapi and Surat of Gujarat by lifting 14.2cumec of water from the Ukai reservoir.
The scopeincludes survey, design, procurement, construction and installation of pumpingsystems, supply and laying of MS pipeline of various diameters and pipelinedistribution networks with all allied works.
