In safe hands

Mallcom (India) Ltd. introduces impact-resistant protective gloves.

All the basic mechanical properties of the gloves are referring to the palm side, like abrasion, cut, tear and puncture. However, the whole idea of impact-resistance is to provide a user using hand protection for the unforeseen hazards that may occur on the back of the glove. Impact-resistant is for providing safety to the knuckles and other bones of the hand.

Mallcom (India) Ltd is currently the only company in the country which has installed a production capacity to manufacture in-house the impact-resistant protective items for hand gloves. The name of the project is inspired by Indian rhinoceros – a mammal that is predominantly present in Assam forests. The names of the knuckle protection are named after scientific names of various breeds or the local names of the rhinos in India.

Rhino has very thick skin and yet has good agility. It provides a good protection against impact to the body – similar is Mallcom’s knuckle protectors!

The company is targeting various industry segments with their new product, such as:

Oil and petrochemical

Construction and civil

Automotive

Glass industry

Repair and maintenance

Metal fabrication.

There are four types of Impact resistant gloves depending upon the industry:

TM294: These particular gloves are for construction and civil, Mining and Metallurgy, Repair and Maintenance.

LR3TDL: These particular gloves protect the user from hazards in the glass industry, and automotive aftermarket (spare parts).

TMFCB: These particular gloves protect the user from the hazards in mining, plumbing, and oil industry.

DE2398: These particular gloves are for the automotive, machinery and equipment and metal fabrication.

Each product is made of different material, namely latex, leather, or nitrile coating. Customizations can be made according to specific industry requirements.

For intense job work in the iron/steel moulding industry, the palm part of the gloves is exposed to high mechanical and heat hazards. In road construction, gloves are required to have high visibility material to work for the conspicuity. Mallcom offers any customization required by the clients due to its scalable manufacturing operations.

All the gloves are made using the cut and stitch methodology or seamlessly through the machine.
