Tamil Nadu calls EoIs for 500 MW of solar projects
The Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency is seeking expressions of interest (EoI) from companies and consortia willing to take part in a 500-MW solar project in the state. Successful candidates will be required to plan, finance, develop, execute, operate and maintain the solar parks. With this EoI invitation, TEDA aims to prequalify bidders who will later receive request for proposal documents.
The photovoltaic capacity will be installed at one or several locations across the state. TEDA has been granted government approval for a solar park of at least 50 MW and up to 500 MW.
According to the EoI announcement, published on TEDA’s website, projects can be developed in either self-development or co-development mode. Projects in both categories can apply for government support by filing a detailed project report within 60 days.
