The construction of the Palkhi Marg throughDynapac machines demonstrates the brand's commitment to preserving and honouringthe spiritual legacy of Maharashtra.

 

The Palkhi Marg, a sacred palanquin route inMaharashtra, holds deep-rooted significance as a pathway of faith for devoteesof Lord Vitthal. Every year, thousands of Warkaris embark on a spiritualjourney, traversing vast distances to seek darshan of the lord in the templetown of Pandharpur. To ensure the safety and convenience of these devotees,Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Sant DnyaneshwarMaharaj Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg in November 2021.

The Palkhi Marg is more than a physical route;it represents the deep faith and devotion of the Warkaris. With the vision tocreate a Bhakti Marg, the four-lane Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg andSant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg were constructed. This endeavour to facilitatethe spiritual journey of devotees instils a sense of emotional connection, asthe public witnesses the manifestation of their faith through the creation ofthis sacred pathway.

Safety is of utmost importance for the devoteeswho embark on this arduous pilgrimage. Dynapac machines played a vital role inconstructing the dedicated walkways on both sides of the Palkhi Marg. Thesewalkways serve as secure passages for the Palkhis and the Warkaris, ensuringtheir safe journey towards Pandharpur. The sight of Dynapac machines workingdiligently to create these walkways instils confidence and emotionalreassurance among the devotees.

 

Dynapac’sPrivilege and Contribution

Dynapac had the honour of being chosen to buildthe Palkhi Marg. Their team of experts have worked with contractors looking atthe application to pick the right equipment. The team of operating personnelwere trained on usage and maintenance. And, they continue to support theconstruction by having a dedicated team working specifically on supporting theequipment used for the Palkimarg project.

A total of 41 Dynapac machines are used by thecompany’s customers on this project.

Dynapac equipment is designed to perform andbuilt to last in terms of low cost of ownership, quality results, highproductivity, jobsite confidence, and excellent serviceability. Theimplementation of the Dynapac 13 Ton Soil compactor CA385D in this projectresulted in a shorter project completion time due to its enhanced static linearload of approximately 39 kg/cm.

This feature facilitated a decrease in thenumber of required passes while also improving fuel efficiency. Dynapac patenteddesign of efficient eccentrics results in reducing energy consumption atstart-up by 50 per cent and, thus, saving fuel.

The primary focus in the Palkimarg project wasto ensure the timely completion of the project. And, to achieve this goal, thecompany employed Dynapac 9.7m paver SD2530CS, 13m paver SD2550CS, and 9.0mpaver SD2500C.

One of the standout features of these pavers isthe utilization of the most stable screeds available. These screeds employ a4-tube principle design, which offers ease of assembly, reducing the timerequired for setup. Additionally, these machines eliminate the need forsupporting rods, even when working with large paving widths.

To optimize the paving process and ensure timelymaintenance, all of these pavers are equipped with the Dyn@link Advancetelematic system. This advanced system enables to optimize paving parametersand closely monitor the performance of the pavers.

With Dyn@link, the company can track fuelconsumption, receive service alerts for uninterrupted operation, set geofencingparameters, and check engine parameters, among other functionalities. Thiscomprehensive monitoring capability is essential for maximizing machine uptimethroughout the project.

CC425 Tandem roller, featuring advanced safetycomponents and unmatched efficiency, has been deployed at this site. With aseat switch sensor, 120-degree swivel seat, and lever interlock system, italways ensures operator safety.

The Dynalink Basic technology providesgeofencing, live status updates, and a theft alert for added security. With aremarkable serviceability of 500 hours and a high-pressure sprinkler nozzle forcomplete drum coverage, it guarantees top-notch performance. Equipped withdual-side water tank filling positions and a segment-leading 800-litercapacity, it offers the best compaction results with uniform weightdistribution for outstanding productivity.

To ensure long-term reliability and minimizemaintenance needs, Dynapac deployed the 14 Tonne CP275 Pneumatic Roller in thisproject. With its durable construction and robust design, this roller deliversexceptional performance while requiring low maintenance efforts. By choosingthis roller, customers not only save valuable time but also reduce overallproject costs, making it a cost-effective solution.

 

Aftermarketsupport

To ensure seamless operations, the companyassigned their dedicated service engineer, Arif, who underwent specializedtraining by Dynapac for maintenance purposes. Their engineering team diligentlyinspected the condition of various filtration systems, promptly replacing themwhen needed. Additionally, they conducted regular checks on the display unitsto identify and resolve any error codes promptly, ensuring uninterruptedperformance.
