Riwal delivers world’s first 43m 100 pc Electric Boom.

Riwal, the Aerial Work Platform and Telehandler rental and sales specialist, has sold the world’s first 43 meter all-electric boom lift to a client in Denmark. Riwal’s expert technical team, led by Nico den Ouden, converted a JLG 1350SJP from diesel to 100 per cent electric.

Converted machines, the company officials say, will be added to Riwal’s rental fleet and will also be sold to other rental companies and end users going ahead. The key features of the JLG 1350SJP, such as 43 meter working height and 24 meter horizontal outreach, combined with the electric power source, provide customers with a strong solution enabling them to work in a safe and productive way, both indoors and outdoors. With a noise level below 70 Dba and no carbon emissions whatsoever, this 100 per cent electric boom lift is battery powered and has a 400 volt integrated battery charger.

The very first machine was delivered to Steiness Lift centre ApS., a Danish rental company specialized in access equipment, telehandlers and lift trucks.
