CASE India inaugurates Skill Development Centre in Pithampur

 

  • The initiative is aligned with Central Government’sSkill India Mission.

CASEConstruction Equipment has inaugurated its Skill Development Centre to providea good understanding and training on Loader Backhoe operations. The initiative contributesto the Central Government’s Skill India Mission by training 240 professionalseach year. The 1,200 sq.ft. facility comprises two classrooms dedicated to theoryclass and counselling.


Thecentre is located at Sonvai, Rau, Pithampur and was inaugurated in the presenceof R K Bhawer, CGM, MPIDC, Ms. Lata Kinwani, Consultant to State SkillDevelopment Corporation, Pradeep Madhukar, Principal Nodal ITI, Ram KisanSolanki, Sarpanch, Sonvai, Abhijit Gupta, Head of Product Development, CASEConstruction India, Satendra Tiwari – Plant Head, Puneet Vidyarthi – HeadMarketing and Business Development, and other senior officials from CASEConstruction India.


Speakingon the occasion, Satendra Tiwari, Plant Head – CASE Construction, India said,“We are not only dedicated to developing their abilities but also keen onhelping them seek employment and develop their soft skills for any future opportunities.We are sure that this Skill Development Centre will add value for all ourtrainees.”

Thetraining centre is open to accept entries from applicants in the age group of 18to 35 years with a minimum education qualification of 8th standard.The individual must be a LMV commercial driving license holder.

Trainingand accommodation will be provided free of charge. The trainees can be employedwith CNH dealers/clients or other loader backhoe dealers/construction sites.


Theemployment of the trainees will depend upon the available placementopportunities within the district or state. The programme has already enrolled30 trainees and will initiate its first batch soon.

PuneetVidyathi, Head – Marketing and Business Development, CASE Construction, India andSAARC said, “Through the Loader Backhoe Skill Development programme, we willhelp the trainees to find employment in the ecosystem through CASE dealerpartners, vendors, and suppliers or other possible opportunities in theindustry within the district or state.”

Thetraining programme will be conducted for minimum mandated hours, as stipulatedby the Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council and as per common normsand notification issued by the Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship of theGovernment of India. The programme will be broadly divided into key categories:

  • Technical skills.

  • Product and process knowledge.

  • Health and Safety.

  • Soft skills grooming, includinginterpersonal skills, personal management, work life sensitivity, and lifeskills.

Theprogramme will also offer basic computer knowledge assessment and certification,periodic assessments as a post training course which will be conducted by CASEIndia’s experts and industry professionals. All trainees will be assessed andcertified by Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council Roles andResponsibilities.
