Karl Lingel Fensterbau Gmbh and Co.kg was establishedin 1959 at Ellwangen, Germany. Since then, Lingel is one of the leadingmanufacturers of high-quality doors and windows in Europe.

Lingel has two manufacturing units – one is inEllwangen, and the second is in Lichtenstein, and has 60 plus years ofexperience in fenestration.

In India, Lingel set its foot in 2006, withits Head Office in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, and has its presence pan-India throughits sales offices, channel partners, and experience centres. The manufacturingunit has size of around 70,000 sq.ft and production capacity 10.000 unit/month wherea 360 degree fenestration solution is provided to its customers.

UPVCwindows and Doors

Keeping in mind the customer requirement andneed to keep our environment safe, UPVC is an ideal solution for anyone. Windowsmade of uPVC structures provide higher performance. It acts as a naturalinsulator which helps to resist heat loss in winter and reduces heat in summer.

LingelAluminium

Lingel has three options when it comes toAluminium Window solutions – Lingel 6.0, Lingel Titanium, and Lingel Hueck. Also,these three options are sturdy and provide security for strength. These come invarious shades of dark grey, light grey, brown, and black.

Lingel 6.0 has 2.0mm outer wall thickness, gluedcorner connectors for all corners, and SS grade hardware.

LingelGerman wood

These windows are termite resistant andcompletely customisable. The added advantage of Lingel wood is that it isdesigned like uPVC and Aluminium window. It is made with same hardware lockingand sealing, and made in Germany.

Glassconservatory

The glass conservatory can be made with UPVC,Aluminium, or even wood. It depends on the customer’s preference. The walls androof are usually made of glass for easy penetration of sunlight. The Glassconservatory needs to be designed, planned, and executed very carefully inIndia keeping in mind the geographical area or location of the building.

Also, solid insulated roof panels can be used sothat we can avoid the inside of the glass conservatory to get heated on a hotsummer day. There, at Lingel, we suggest our customers contact us at theinitial stage so that we can suggest suitable design so that from a singlestanding unit, all four walls are provided by Lingel and also the roof. And, ifjust a roof Glazing, then one or two walls – or, even three walls – can be doneand any specific solution at your home can be given by Lingel.

LingelSecurity Windows

The Lingel Security Windows were introducedkeeping in mind the combination of perfect glazing, hardware, and lockingsystem. The glazing plays a crucial role as any burglar can enter into a homeor office by just three hits on a laminated toughened glass.

The ordinary laminated glass can be pulled outlike a fabric curtain. Anyone can break through the lock in a normal multipointwith 90 sec whereas entering through the safety Box is as close to impossible. Theseare some innovations that Lingel has brought forth for its customers.

ShadingOptions: RollerShutter, Venetian Blinds, and Awnings

RollerShutter: A roller shutter can prevent the sunlight fromhitting the glass directly and, thus, reduce the heating of the room by 75 percent. It provides complete water tightness and complete insulation.

The roller shutter can be manually andautomatically operated. The three options are spindle, motor, and belt.

VenetianBlinds: It operates on a rolling mechanism (crank-based/pulley-based).Thisis mounted on the system inside the window aperture, or on the existing windowframe.

Ideally, we attached it with theexisting window from outside. There are no operations or generalmaintenance required.

Awnings:It stops the harmful sun rays from falling directly into your house by 98 percent in summer. You can use it to your advantage in winter by retracting it.

It is low maintenance and easy to care for. Awningcreates a relaxed feel to your home and it a great ad-on.

WindowSills

Window sills are integral part of the buildingsstructure. The building envelope is outside part, and has to face many weatherconditions or the fury of nature. We protect the outer skin by having differentkinds of claddings.

Outer walls, by default, are vertical. So, whenthe rain water hits the wall, it will flow down. But, in the window sill area, whereusually the windows are fitted in the centre, it has a 2-4 inch of a horizontalplain area.

Window sill is widely used in Europe. You canchoose for colour options to match it with the colour of the window. You couldgo in for lighter shades to darker shades to match the outer walls.

Rain water hitting the glasses will drain downon the window sill and, as the window sill will have an slope angel of 5-8degrees, the water will completely drain out. And, if the window sill is around50 mm in front of the building, then the rain water will drop down hitting thesurface of the building. This will ensure there is complete water tightness. So,during monsoons when the water comes through the glass, it will immediatelydrain out.

At the sides where the Aluminium Sill isattached to the wall, end caps are connected. This will assure complete watertightness and it provides the perfect connection to the wall.

InbuiltGrills

Inbuilt Grill solution is a very unique solutionwhich provides complete security. It can be customised to provide ventilation.

Mosquitomesh: This can be in-built , keeps other pests out,and are sleek. There are three options – pleated mesh, roller mesh, and shuttermesh.

Skylight:Lingel is known for the various skylight projects. Lingel Skylights providesday lighting and ventilation. These can be tailor-made to suit customer needs.
